Located on the grounds of the former Lowry Air Force Base is this 1955 vintage RB-52B.  Originally delivered to the Lowry Technical Training Center to be used as a trainer and later transferred to Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in 1994.  Of the 50 B-52Bs built, the first version to enter service with the USAF, 27 were capable of carrying a reconnaissance pod as RB-52Bs (the crew was increased to eight in these aircraft). The 300 pound pod contained radio receivers, a combination of K-36, K-38, and T-11 cameras.  The B-52 has been in active service with the USAF since 1955, 58 are in active service with 18 in reserve.  Fuji X-E2s w/18-135mm.
