A Super Stearman waits for her pilot, the late Eddie Andreini, a popular Northern California airshow performer, to perform at the Pacific Coast Dream Machines event. Delivered in 1942 as a PT-13D trainer, this Stearman was highly modified by Eddie with a 450 hp Pratt & Whitney with inverted fuel & oil systems. Other original modifications include the unique canopy, 4 ailerons with spades, speed fairings and a wing smoke system. Tragically, Eddie Andreini perished in this aircraft during a 2014 airshow performance. Nikon D300 w/18-200mm.
