My first spotting of this unique aircraft.  The U.S. Navy operates a fleet of E-6B TACAMO (“TAke Charge And Move Out”) Mercury aircraft which are extremely important as they are used to relay instructions to strategic nuclear forces in case of nuclear war, but also act as backups for E-4Bs Airborne Command Post aircraft.  With production of the 16 E-6 aircraft ending in 1991, this  was the final derivative of the Boeing 707 to be built.  Nikon D7000 w/80-400mm, processing with Aperture.
