A very sharp-looking Stearman parked on the static ramp during the California Capital Airshow. The aircraft name and designation varies depending on the nation and military branch flying it, most common being the PT-17 built for the U.S. Army Air Corps. First flown in 1934, more than 10,000 of these training aircraft would be produced in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Stearman Aircraft became a subsidiary of Boeing in 1934. Nikon D500 w/18-200mm.
