This Dreamliner is on final approach after a long flight from Seoul, Korea. Korean Air is the largest airline and flag carrier of South Korea, operating eight of these 787 aircraft in their fleet. In early 2017, Korean Air received its first Boeing 787-9, the second variant of the 787 family which entered service in 2014. Keeping the same wingspan as the 787-8, the -9 was lengthened and strengthened with a 20 ft longer fuselage.  As of August 2018, 56% of all 787 orders are for the 787-9, with 363 deliveries.
