This KLM Dreamliner approaches SFO after a long flight from Amsterdam. KLM operates a fleet of 13 787-9 configuration aircraft in their inventory. KLM began Dreamliner service to SFO in May 2016. With a typical capacity of 280 passengers and a range of 7,635 nautical miles, the -9 is a stretched variant of the -8 base model of the 787 family and entered service in 2014.
