KLM Flight 605 touches down on Runway 28L at SFO after a long flight from Amsterdam. KLM operates a fleet of eight 787-9 configuration aircraft in their inventory. With a typical capacity of 280 passengers and a range of 7,635 nautical miles, the -9 is a stretched variant of the -8 base model of the 787 family and entered service in 2014.
