My first blog post of an El Al aircraft, taken during a layover at Newark. There are currently seven Dreamliners in the El Al fleet, with the first on entering service in August 2017. Most of El Al’s aircraft are named for Israeli cities, with the names located near the nose of the plane beneath the cockpit windows. This one is named Tel Aviv-jaffa. As of August 2018, 56% of all 787 orders are for the 787-9, with 363 deliveries. Fuji X-E2s w/18-55mm.
