An Air Premia Boeing 787-9 departs Narita Airport. South Korean airline Air Premia operates six of these Dreamliners with three more on order. The 787-9 is the second variant of the 787 family which entered service in 2014. Keeping the same wingspan as the 787-8, the -9 was lengthened and strengthened with a 20 ft longer fuselage. As of January 2023, 63% of all 787 orders are for the 787-9, with 580 deliveries.
