Spotted this Biman Dreamliner while visiting a museum next to Narita Airport. Biman, the national flag carrier of Bangladesh, operates six Dreamliners in their fleet. With a typical capacity of 242 passengers and a range of 7,355 nautical miles, the -8 is the base model of the 787 family and was the first to enter service in 2011. Over 1,100 Dreamliners have been delivered of the 1,900 on order. In modern Bengali, the word Biman refers to “aeroplane”. The logo on the tail, designed by Bangladeshi artist Quamrul Hassan, is a stylised white stork inside a red circle.
