A United Triple Seven soars over the Fleet Week crowds assembled in San Francisco to watch the annual airshow. This is one of the few airshows in the country to include a commercial airliner in the flight schedule. First flown in 1994, the 777 is the world’s largest twinjet and utilizes the largest-diameter turbofan engines of any aircraft. United operates 22 777-300ERs in their current fleet. The 777-300ER features raked and extended wingtips, a strengthened fuselage and wings and a modified main landing gear. The -300ER is the best-selling 777 variant with more than 830 delivered.
