Founded in 1989, EVA Air is the second largest Taiwanese airline. This Triple-Seven is one of 33 in their fleet and wears a Hello Kitty livery named “Sanrio Family Hand in Hand”.  EVA Air operates seven unique Hello Kitty-themed aircraft, mostly on intra-Asian routes.  Beside their regular SFO-TPE flights, the only other U.S. route with these special jets is ORD-TPE.  The most common and successful variant of the Boeing 777 is the 777-300ER with 810 delivered and 844 orders.
