An Air New Zealand flight masquerading as EVA Air gets ready to touch down at SFO.  Air New Zealand began using this leased 777 from Taiwan’s EVA Air to cover for Dreamliner delivery delays affected by Rolls-Royce engine problems.  Air India operates thee of these 777-200LR aircraft.  The 777-200LR (Longer Range), entered service in 2006 as one of the longest-range commercial airliners, holding the world record for the longest nonstop flight by a commercial airliner (Hong Kong to London, 11,664 nautical miles, 22hr-42min).  The most common and successful variant of the Boeing 777 is the 777-300ER with 748 delivered and 823 orders.
