Boeing 757-200, Delta Air Lines

November 2021

I was able to visit the Delta Flight Museum on a recent trip, a very nicely presented collection of retired Delta airliners. Starting in 1985, this 757 flew domestic routes for Delta until retirement in 2013 and storage in Marana, Arizona.  She came out of storage and joined the Delta Flight Museum on April 27, 2014. First flown in 1982, Delta currently operates 111 of these narrow-body jets in their fleet, making them the largest customer of the type.  These domestic aircraft are slated for replacement with the Airbus A320 neo starting in 2022.  iPhone 12 Pro photo.
