The golden hour light bathes this Atlas Air charter aircraft visiting Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam as we taxi by. This base neighbors Honolulu International Airport and shares runways with the airport for military traffic. With a total combined fleet of 54 Boeing 747 aircraft, Atlas is the world’s largest operator of this fleet type. Atlas Air is the largest provider of commercial wide-body cargo capability for the United States Air Mobility program.
