March 2016

I teamed up with Rob Edgcumbe to provide media coverage of the 2016 Aerial Firefighting International conference. The highlight of the event were the aerial demonstrations session which included a variety of static display aircraft including this 747, one of the largest firefighting aircraft available.  Formerly in service with Japan Airlines, this Boeing Converted Freighter is based in Colorado Springs and can carry 20,000 gallons to fight wildfires anywhere in the continental US and be almost anywhere in the world in under 20 hours.  Nikon D300 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture and Aurora HDR.
