For several years now, United Airlines has been on the San Francisco Fleet Week airshow schedule. This year’s participant was this 747-400, making several low passes over the Bay in clean and dirty configurations. This is a sight that will not be repeated, at least not by United. United currently operates only two of these jumbo jets and is almost done drawing down the fleet in favor of newer, more efficient aircraft. Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm, processed with Aperture.
