On a recent flight into SFO, I was fortunate to have my camera in hand as we were landing and saw this United jumbo jet waiting to use our runway. United operates 21 of these 747-400s which are to be phased out by 2018 and to be replaced by 777-300ER and A350-1000 aircraft. Nikon D500 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture and Aurora HDR.
