This United 737 shows its scimitar winglets.  Making use of both the split/ventral singlet design and the high-performance scimitar tips, United has managed a cruise performance gain of 30-40%.  The longest model of the Boeing 737 series, this is the largest variant of the Boeing 737 NG line and was introduced to meet the range and passenger capacity of the discontinued 757-200.  United operates 136 of these models in their fleet.  First flown in 2006, more than 460 of these extended range Next Generation 737-900’s have been built. Fuji X-E2s w/18-55mm.
