I finally made my way over to the fabled In-n-Out located below the approach path at LAX to experience the planespotting and it did not disappoint.  This Delta 737 roars overhead, seconds to touchdown. Delta operates 77 of these -800 aircraft.  The 737-800 is a stretched version of the 737-700, filling the gap left by the decision to discontinue the McDonnell Douglas MD-80/MD-90 following Boeing’s merger with McDonnell Douglas.  Nikon D500 w/18-200mm.
