This American Airlines 737  is bathed in the light of a golden sunset on final approach to SFO.   This was my first opportunity to photograph the new livery that rolled out this year.   The 737-800 is a stretched version of the 737-700, filling the gap left by the decision to discontinue the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 and MD-90 following Boeing’s merger with McDonnell Douglas.  Nikon D7000 with 80-400 mm lens.
