@ Maui, HI
June 2022
This elaborately decorated Alaska 737 prepares to depart Maui for a flight back to the mainland. Applied in 2012, this design ranks among the world’s most intricately painted commercial airplanes and was produced in partnership with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, which promotes wild, natural and sustainable Alaska seafood. The Boeing 737 Next Generation is the −600/-700/-800/-900 series of the venerable Boeing 737 airliner. The most common variant is the -800, a stretched version of the 737-700, filling the gap left by the decision to discontinue the McDonnell Douglas MD-80/MD-90 following Boeing’s merger with McDonnell Douglas. Over 5,000 of these Next-Gen 737s have been delivered and it is the most widely used narrowbody aircraft worldwide. Fuji X-E2s w/18-135mm.
