Went out for my first planespotting session of 2025 and spotted this BBJ1 on final approach to SFO. The Boeing Business Jet series are variants of Boeing jet airliners for the corporate jet market. First flown in 1998, the first BBJ1 was based on the 737-700 with the stronger wing and landing gear of the 737-800. This 2001 BBJ1 is currently operated by a UAE charter carrier. More than 260 BBJs of all sizes have entered service, 113 BBJ1s were delivered to customers.
