Since 1988, Southwest Airlines has used a variety of uniquely painted Boeing 737s to garner publicity from customers and aviation enthusiasts. One theme has been a variety of state flags, such as this 737 representing the state of Missouri . Named “Missouri One”, this flag livery was unveiled by Southwest in 2015. Southwest Airlines was the launch customer for the 737-700 back in December 1997. Southwest operates 375 of these in their fleet.
