Body Waxing for Men – 6 Steps for Easy Hair Removal

By Attireclub @attireclub

There are many ways to get rid of body hair. Shaving is one of the easiest and quickest ones, but the downside is that the hair grows back very quickly. Not to mention that it may not be the best method for people with sensitive skin. Therefore, waxing comes as an alternative.

With waxing, although the hair grows back, it does not grow back as quickly as it would after shaving. If you're a man who wants to get rid of some body hair, but you're tired of the irritation that appears after using the razor, you might be interested in waxing.

However, many people see waxing as something torturous. So, the chances are that you fear the pain and are hesitant to start waxing. Well, here are some steps you can go through for easy and pain-free hair removal.

First things first, before you start looking for waxing kits for you, it's important to bear in mind that there are different types of wax.

One of them is hard wax, which is less painful and removes more hair. What's good about it is that it is ideal for different hair quantities, so even excess hair may be removed.

Then, there is soft wax, which you usually find on strips. This option is more painful as it tends to rip off the skin. Soft wax is preferred when removing fine hair.

Whether you're going to an esthetician for the hair removal or you're doing it at home, you must prepare your skin for the process. This means that you must shower and exfoliate at least the day before the appointment. Also, you must ensure that the skin is healthy and that your hair has grown to an ideal length for waxing, which is one-quarter of an inch.

If you are going to an esthetician, you will not have to worry about this as they will know how to perform the procedure. But if you are doing it at home, you should apply the wax in the direction of the hair growth, then rip it against the hair growth direction. You must also hold the skin, so you don't pull it too hard.

Although waxing can be painful, many imagine it as way worse than it is. The mind also plays an important role in pain. If you are thinking of the worst and are all tense during the appointment, the experience will not be that great.

Go to the appointment relaxed and thinking of how happy you will be after removing your hair.

After the waxing procedure, your skin will be cleansed by the esthetician, who will then soothe the area. A post-depilatory product will be applied for protection, and you will also be given a cool towel.

Then, you must avoid chafing, irritation, sun exposure, and other heat sources. You must not work out, go to the beach or pool, or anything of the sort for at least 24 hours. You may also want to wear loose clothing, wash the area gently and use cool gels or lotions.

If you want to keep waxing, then you must commit to ditching the razor and taking care of your skin. The first time is the hardest. Afterward, waxing will not seem that bad anymore.

So, are you ready to start waxing? If you go through these steps, you will never want to use a razor anymore. Once you get into waxing, you'll enjoy having smooth skin for a longer period.
