Body Found In Colorado Could Lead To Clues In Jessica Ridgeway Case
A body found in Colorado late Wednesday night is still being investigated since investigators can’t positively identify it because the body is “not intact.”

Authorities still won’t say if it’s the body of missing fifth-grader, Jessica Ridgeway who disappeared last Friday on her way to school.

The body was found by police late Wednesday in Pittridge Park in Arvada, Colorado, about seven miles from Jessica’s home in Westminster.

That same afternoon, authorities had come to the conclusion that Jessica had been abducted by an “unknown suspect,” and were confident that Jessica’s parents were not involved in her disappearance.

According to the press, authorities have been following multiple leads from at least five states that included links to an abandoned light blue Buick station wagon that was later found in Portsmouth, NH with Colorado plates.

Last Sunday, Oct. 7th, it was reported that a women called in saying she had seen a girl who has looked like Jessica Ridgeway in a Buick station wagon with Colorado plates. There were also other calls reporting sightings of the missing Westminster girl in Harmony, Maine, in a similar vehicle.

Police are asking the public to pay close attention to the young girls most distinguishing features: a small gap between her two front teeth and a sore on the top of her nose where the bridge of her eyeglasses sits. Jessica is 4’10,” 80 pounds, has shoulder-length blonde hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a black jacket with pink and purple eyeglasses.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the Westminster Police tip line: 303-658-4336.
