Bobby Brown and Bobbi Kristina’s estate have lost their court battle against TV One. The Bobbi Kristina biopic will air Sunday Oct. 8th as scheduled.
Bobby Brown attempted to stop TV One from airing the Bobbi Kristina biopic stating in court documents that the movie “contains defamatory untrue depictions” of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina’s relationship, with scenes “suggesting” that Bobby “does not love his daughter.”
The singer also claimed that the movie “contains defamatory and untrue depictions” of him “being violent” towards the late Whitney Houston.
TV One responded to the court’s decision to side with them via a statement to TheJasmineBrand
“Today the court rejected a motion for a preliminary injunction filed by Bobby Brown and the Estate of Bobbi Kristina Brown that sought to enjoin the network’s airing of the original movie, “Bobbi Kristina”.
