We thought it would be an ironically funny way of spending a couple of hours in the middle of lockdown and a travel ban. We’d forgotten just how ironic it would be…Not exactly what we'd hoped for when trying to take our minds off things.
We picked up our set online a few years ago – a quick glance on eBay shows that you can pick up an old set for £10-£20, in usable condition. Mint-condition sets for collectors can go for upwards of £50, but where’s the fun in that? A collection of games you’re not allowed to play with?
We had a lot of fun, despite an unexpected pitch invasion…
