In Waikaloa is a heliport operated by Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Most of their fleet is comprised of the Airbus EC130 Eco-Star, along with the smaller Airbus AS350 A-Star. The EC130 was designed in close cooperation with tour operators, one such operator, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, being the launch operator. In 2001, the EC130 entered service with Blue Hawaiian, being used for aerial tours of scenic areas of Hawaii. First flown in 1999, more than 700 have been delivered. Fuji XE-2s w/18-55mm.
