Blue for the Ball

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
Blue for the ball I rarely get a chance these days to dress up as I've recently become somewhat of hermit and don't go out.  Well that's not strictly true as last weekend I was invited to a sporting organisation awards ceremony, so me and my handsome man popped on our gladrags and went to the awards.Blue for the ball The dress I wore was by Kate Fearnley from the fashion finders playground aka Little Black Dress Blue for the ballBlue for the ballWhat do you wear to such an event being surrounded by Olympic atheletes? I decided I wanted something classic in design but eye catching, so I knew as soon as I laid eyes on this Kate Fearnley Blue Gracy Dress that it was perfect.Blue for the ballBlue for the ballBlue for the ballBlue for the ballI felt really pretty in this dress, which I know sounds odd but I personally rarely feel pretty when I'm out... so it was a wonderful feeling.  The dress shape is ideal to nip in at the waist with the netted underskirt giving it that umph!
Blue for the ballAs the blue of the laced number was so statement I kept my accessories quite simple with a texture black clutch from Next and my allSaints suede heels.  The dress exposes the back but has a delicate bow at the top near the neck making it dainty but stylish, which I believe makes it ideal for the upcoming Christmas parties and social gathering.  You can get this dress from Little Black Dress for £139.50 as it's now gone into the sale! It was a wonderful night and one where I was so pleased I felt good on my mans arms!  What do you think of the look? Would you have styled it the same way?Blue for the ballxoxo
