Hi everyone! I’m back from the throws of the Decor Sale and it was quite a success. Thanks especially to my friend Shelby, and to everyone who came and checked it out. We’re donating some leftovers and I held on to a few things to sell on eBay or Esty, but overall I’m happy to be rid of a lot of the stuff I’ve been packing around these past few moves.
I’m also happy to share that today is my one year blog-iversary! I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for a whole year already. I started the blog as a creative outlet to inspire myself and hopefully others to try new projects, mix and match furniture, shop vintage and bring some quirk and happiness to a space. My original goal was to try out blogging for a year and now that the year has come and gone I plan on keeping it up as long as I have the passion and energy for it. I SO appreciate all of your support, questions and comments. It means more than you know to hear from friends, family and readers who are inspired by the blog. So a big, happy, inspired hug to all of you for continuing to check in–there’s lots more good stuff headed your way!
For starters, I’ve been poking around a site I recently found that highlights modern homes for sale in Tacoma and other Western Washington cities, 360 Modern. Here are a few shots I wanted to share of some inspiring South Sound mid century architecture.
I love the “tented” paneled ceilings and globe lighting.
These wood cabinets are a nice modern update that blends seamlessly with the mid century bones of the rest of the house.
