Recap
The movie follows a mother and her son who become separated through the air raids in London. She believes he has gone somewhere safe, while he decides to try and find his way home. However, the journey home takes him down a dangerous path during the height of the attacks.
Best Parts
The twin stories are amazing to watch, with parents dealing with the pain of leaving their son and the son not wanting to leave. Once George travels through the destruction in London the idea he meets the good and bad of society shines through. All while showing racial tensions that are taking over the area. We get brilliant performances from the whole cast, all making their small moments of impact on the story. The effects to show the war-torn London are amazing and leave you contemplating everything going on.
Worst Parts
The only bad thing about the movie is how little access people have to it.
Final Thoughts –Blitz is an amazing drama with an edge of the seat story.
