Verdict on Blackwater Lane

Recap

The movie follows a woman who discovers a dead body and starts having unexplained events around her. She begins to investigate and soon learns secrets from her personal life.

Best Parts

The movie creates a thriller which plays into the paranoia placed upon a woman. It does a great job of creating potential suspects and keeps us guessing as to who could have been behind the murder. There are plenty of ideas which leave us wondering more and it deals with darker themes outside of just the murder.

Worst Parts

While it seems to present plenty of options, it doesn’t seem to give us enough to work on when it comes to some of the characters. It is made clear who is more involved and otherwise, it is more people being creepy.

Final Thoughts Blackwater Lane has plenty of mystery.
