Blackburn Rovers attacker Tyrhys Dolan is pushing for a first England age-group call-up after a rapid rise in the Championship.
Dolan became one of the club's youngest players to ever make 50 appearances when scoring during the weekend's 5-1 thumping of Cardiff City.
Sportsmail understands that England coaches have been tracking his progress ahead of the next Under-20 camp in October, when they face Italy in Chesterfield before a trip to Czech Republic.
Dolan was released by Manchester City and Preston North End as an academy prospect, before flourishing at Ewood Park after moving on a free transfer last year.
The 19-year-old quickly forced his way into Tony Mowbray's plans and has become integral to their strong start to this season.
A tireless runner who can operate anywhere across the front three or behind a striker, Dolan has three goals to his name in all competitions this term and dovetailed with Ben Brereton Diaz.
'I remember coming off and I sat down and looked and I saw a few Dolan shirts and I was just smiling to myself because I still can't believe it,' he said this week.
'That's all I ever wanted. Me growing up with a players name on the back of my shirt, I just wanted that to be me one day, and seeing it is different to thinking it and it was just a crazy feeling for me.'
