It's nostalgia time! Classic BlackBerry phones are making a comeback in 2021 with the Android operating system, 5G, and a physical QWERTY keyboard.
To launch the new BlackBerry phone, ForwardMobility, an American company has associates with BlackBerry and FIH Mobile, a subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group for the design and manufacture of new 5G mobile devices. The updated BlackBerry Android 5G smartphone will launch in the first half of 2021 in North America and Europe.
At this point, we don't have more details about the device like screen size or internal specs, but OnwardMobility says the new BlackBerry will come with an all-new keyboard design that reflects "the values of brand from keyboard input experience and typing experience. "

The company appears to be focusing its marketing strategy on corporate clients, highlighting the phone's security features and its ability to work on the go - something I'm not sure about during a pandemic! But all of these were the main attributes that have attracted so many BlackBerry customers in the past, so it makes sense.
The new Blackberry Android phones are unlikely to be a flagship standard, but perhaps a healthy mid-range. The upcoming model would make this the fourth or fifth iteration of the iconic phone (depending on how you count them!) And I have to say I'm very curious to see what OnwardMobility would bring to BlackBerry fans!
