For me, one of the biggest challenges of getting dressed while pregnant is finding pieces (like this cold shoulder dress) that don’t scream ‘maternity’. As someone who spends quite a bit of time online, I feel like I have come across so many terrible maternity pieces but have also found quite handful of amazing options as well. Thankfully this season, looser clothing is quite on trend so you can for sure wear the pieces if you are pregnant or not!

I recently found this black cold shoulder dress and knew it would be a great dress to have in my closet while pregnant. I have always said that you can never have too many black dresses and since I am pregnant I cannot get enough of them.

The silhouette of this cold shoulder dress is flattering (pregnant or not pregnant) and the combination of the cold shoulders and ruffles give it a little edge. I wore this cold shoulder dress last weekend while out of town with my husband and I plan to wear it throughout the spring (would also be adorable paired with sandals). To make the look feel a bit more complete, I decided to pair it with these statement earrings.

Now that I am 24 weeks and two days, I have started to show a bit more but still am able to wear the majority of ‘looser’ things in my closet. Pieces like this cold shoulder black dress make me feel more normal in a VERY new scenario because getting dressed with a bump is no easy task!
