Plot: A seemingly chance encounter between two women on a bus trip with identical black suitcases sets off a dangerous game of cat and mouse when one discovers she’s swapped her bag with a killer’s.  As they try to outsmart each other at every turn, deadly secrets are revealed and they learn that their meeting may not have been accidental and they have more in common than they think.

Story: Black Bags starts when an expecting mother Tess (Rulin) is traveling home by bus. She is joined by a mysterious woman Sara (Vandervoort) heading in the same direction. When they arrive at their destination, they both look to go their separate ways.

However, Tess gets a visit from Sara after they mix their identical bags up. What seems like a quick exchange of bags takes a much darker twist. The two women find themselves in a stalemate over what to do next through this difficult situation.

Verdict on Black Bags

Black Bags is a thriller following a chance encounter between two women. This leads to a mix-up of suitcases and a reveal of a terrifying secret. As the pair try to resolve the problem, they must look at their own lives if they are to have a future.

This is a thriller that keeps us guessing as well as delivering a shocking twist in the events. The reveal is shocking enough, however, the truth reaches a new level of surprise. This is a tense thriller because you are always on edge about what might happen between the two women. Laura Vandervoort and Olesya Rulin are both fantastic in the leading roles.

Final Thoughts Black Bags is a tense thriller with a shocking turn of events.
