Eurasian hoopoe - Pretty but SmellyYou can easily recognized it by its cinnamon- orange color and beautiful crown-like feather on the head. Usually the females look a little duller than the males. The female bird generates a kind of stinky secretion which can protect its embryo from the predators. That’s why you may find the nest smells like rotten meat.
