Binge-watching? First, Let’s Make Some Sausage Sandwich & Longganisa Burger

Have you seen Strangers Things 3? I already finished watching the latest season but decided to re-watch the whole series with my younger cousins because one they wanted to. Two, the weekend weather just screamed Netflix & chill. It was really fun!

And you know what made it even better?

Savoury snacks!

My cousins actually wanted to order food but when I checked our fridge, I had a change of heart. Inside I saw Stuffed & Served's Sampler Set which includes Hungarian, Hungarian Cheese and Italian Bratwurst plus Longganisa (Longga) Burger patties. According to the instructions on their page, there are three easy steps:

  • Put the sausage in a pot with 1/2 inch of water. Bring to a simmer and place the lid.
  • Let the sausage slowly simmer for 8-10 minutes or until the water has completely evaporated.
  • Brown the sausage in a pan or place on the grill and serve.
Btw, here's a short video how I prepared our snacks that day. SUBSCRIBE. LIKE. SHARE.

I can slice them up to share but with young and energetic cousins like mine that's not enough. So I decided to make sausage sandwiches and burgers instead.

After following all the steps and cooking the Longga Burger patties, I sauteed some onions and garlic in butter. Then I set them aside and pan-fried the hamburger buns and hot dog buns making the outer surface crisp and bread centre a little chewy. Once all was done, I started to assemble the burgers and sandwiches palcing the toppings last.

To be honest, the sausages are delicious on its own. I can just slice and serve it as is and maybe some cheese and drinks, too. But only if I'm hanging out with my friends! Making sausage sandwiches topped with caramelised onion and garlic is not a bad idea.

I t's also worth mentioning that the longga burger was a crowd favourite. My youngest cousin enjoyed it very much. I actually added some tomatoes and a sunny side up as per his request. To be fair, it was really flavourful and savoury. Since there's another patty, I assembled a simpler burger and it was surprisingly good. You don't actually need to add toppings.

Would you like to try these delicious sausages and longga burger, too? It's from Stuffed & Served: Facebook | Instagram account. They offer Hungarian, Hungarian Cheese and Italian Bratwurst. If you love them all, I recommend getting the Sampler Set as it only costs PHP350.00 and you get two of each sausage.

Do you love burgers, too? Their Longganisa Burger is really delicious. I highly recommend it. Oh, did I mention how affordable it is? Stuffed & Served's Longga Burger only costs PHP199.00/ 6 pieces. Go get yours now! 🙂
