Billie Holiday Biopic Being Directed By Lee Daniels & Starring Andra Day?

Lee Daniels is said to be in talks to direct a Billie Holiday biopic.

According to Variety, the biopic titled “Bille” is looking at Andra Day to play Holiday.

Holiday, also known as “Lady Day,” was a jazz singer whose career spanned three decades.  The legendary singer passed away in 1959. Her iconic performing style has influenced artists and jazz musicians for years.
