Bill and Ted are now middle aged dads in California and they are still attempting to come up with the hit song in order to fulfil their destiny. With the help of their daughters Thea and Billie they might eventually achieve everything they had always dreamed.

As Bill and Ted have failed with the song that was due to unite the world, everything is beginning to crumble around them including their marriages and careers and not forgetting that time and space are also going to collapse if they cannot come up with the song. Kelly the daughter of Rufus arrives to take them to the Great Leader who tells them that they only have until 7:17pm that night to write the song or reality with fully collapse.
Billie and Thea really become important as they use the time machine to recruit truly incredible musicians from many different times and places to help create the song. While this is happening Bill and Ted travel to the future 2067 to try and get the song from their older selves.
More carnage and craziness as the time travelling goes over many different decades and years, both forwards and backwards. Something that we have been used to from the first two films and that formula just works out right?
I was a little bit behind when it came to Bill and Ted and had only watched Excellent Adventure last year when he cinemas reopened in what was the build up to this third film being released. I hadn't managed to find Bogus Journey available to watch anywhere so didn't end up seeing this on the cinema release. I did however manage to catch it earlier this year so set me up nicely to watch this one on its Sky Cinema debut. I did enjoy the first film but thought the second was very poor, however the third instalment managed to claw some of that back and turned out to be a lot better than I was expecting.
I actually felt as though Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine and Kristen Schaal really stole and carried the film in my opinion I felt as though they gave it a much better edge than if it had just been Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. For the two actors to continue the air head roles at the age they are now it could have been a very big risk, but luckily it was done in the best possible way.
