Following an appearance at Glastonbury Festival and ahead of the release of ‘Yawny Yawn’ (a piano and vocals version of last year’s ‘Yawn’ album – Pre-order via Dom Mart now) Bill Ryder-Jones has shared a goosebump-inducing video for ‘And Then There’s You’.
The stripped-back nature gives more focus on the reflective lyrics as the lead character admits past mistakes and pleads for forgiveness: ‘Tell me I’m wrong and I’m yours. It’s easy to change and you know I would. Tell me again what I’m worth’; ‘My mistrust, my mistress, takes me home again, my mistress, my mistrust, we’re alone again.’
