Kristin Bauer van Straten’s (Pamela Swynford de Beaufort) painting of Alexander Skarsgård (Eric Northman) for Out for Africa is now live! Put up yesterday, the bidding is currently up to $1,025 but the reserve is still on so the bidding has to climb higher still!
The listing features a picture of Bauer van Straten and Skarsgård with the painting but their True Blood wardrobe is humorously covered over so as not to accidentally spoil any details from a future episode, hence the “no spoilers…just the painting” caption on the photo.
The oil on canvas painting done by Kristin herself is 14×18 and has been signed by her and Alexander Skarsgård and the winner buyer will receive an additional signed photo of Kristin.
If you plan on bidding on the painting, the auction is set to close next Saturday, June 22 2013 at just after 1:38PM PST. All of the proceeds from the sale will go towards funding the post-production costs for the Out for Africa documentary which centers on how to stop ivory poaching in Kenya which Kristin shot on location last year.
