So in a nut shell, bicep curls work, but if you are looking for a faster way to build explosive arms, pull ups/chin ups are the way to go. These workouts will activate larger muscle fibers and trick your body into believing that it is lifting heavier than it actually is. This will result in larger muscle growth and requires no isolation workouts. Focus on these workouts and notice the increase in inches on your arms without doing another bicep curl again.
