It has been announced today that Steve McQueen's Mangrove will open the 2020 BFI London Film Festival, the 64th to take place. It will play for free for audiences at BFI Southbank and at selected cinemas across the UK.
Mangrove starring Letitia Wright, Shaun Parkes and Malachi Kirby. This will be the films European premiere on Wednesday 7th October as part of the 12-day offering which is taking the festival out to cities around the UK and many films are going to be available for virtual premieres at home.
