Beyond the Dream is a documentary that follows two teachers that use their own experiences in the college system to give back to their home town. It shows how they team up to prepare El Paso students for college. Teaching them how to apply and get the attention of the colleges and not be nervous about that change.
This highlights the pressure college applications still pile on high school students. It is the next step in their lives and the decision will decide the next stage of their lives to have a career in the future. Having two people give up their time to make the dreams and aspirations of students come true is also important. This is an important documentary that opens the eyes of a generation that never believed they could achieve as much as they could.
