Beyond Crimson and Clover: Shattered by Sarah M. Cradit is a 2014 independent publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is the tender story of Ana and Oz back when they were teenagers. It has occurred to me that this series is so multi-faceted. There are so many angles that can be pursued. We can go back in time and examine relationships or branch off and explore the specific issues of the characters. Each story, no matter how long or short adds another piece to the puzzle that brings more insight into who these are and where they came from. In this short story we already see the complications that lead Ana and Oz to make the choices they did later as adults. We also get a glimpse of the cocky Nicolas back in his younger days. I do not have any idea why I have a thing for Nic but for some reason he just fascinates me. He is such a snot in this story. I couldn't help but laugh at him. If you follow this series you will want to add this one to the collection for sure. If don't follow the series.. well, you should.
This one gets 4 stars
