Beyoncé: the Visual Album Black is King is out Today

The resilience, traditions and culture of the Black people are the common thread of the new visual album Beyoncé, Black Is King which is based on the music of " The Lion King: The Gift "And was released on July 31 exclusively on Disney +.

Beyoncé's film re-imagines the themes of The Lion King to accompany today's young queens and young kings on a personal journey in search of their crown. The film was in production for a year with a cast and crew they represent diversity and inclusion.
The travels of the Black families over time are celebrated in a story about the growth path of a young king through betrayal, love and his own identity. His ancestors guide him to his destiny and, with the teachings of his father and the guidance of his childhood love, he earns the virtues necessary to regain his home and throne. These timeless lessons are revealed and expressed through Black voices of today that stand in all their strength.

We begin to listen to the song Already and watch the first official video.

The photography of the film - shot in various locations between New York and Los Angeles, in South Africa and West Africa, but also in London and Belgium - tells the beauty of the people and the places. In the cast there are actors and dancers from all these places. And among the special guests the models Aweng Ade-Chuol and Adut Akech, the top model Naomi Campbell, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Lupita Nyong'o, the singer Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams and JAY-Z (just to name a few)

The videos of the songs My Power, Mood 4 Eva is Brown Skin Girl I'm extravagances endowed with elegance and soul. The film is a story for posterity that informs and reconstructs the present. A union of shared cultures and beliefs between generations. A story of how these tried people have an extraordinary gift and an important future.

Black Is King it is written, directed and produced at executive level by Queeb B who in the opening photo wears a Burberry total look, designed for her by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci.
