Beyonce’s “Lemonade” Named Album Of The Decade

I think everyone would agree that the the folks over at the Associated Press got it right when they named Beyonce's "Lemonade" album, Album of the Decade.

The album was a cultural game changer! It had us rocking lemonade braids, looking for Becky with the good hair, trying to dance like Big Freedia, and mad at Jay-Z for cheating on the Queen.

Bey, who is known to sing about the drama that goes on in her life vs doing interviews, shocked the world when she revealed that Jay had cheated on her with "Becky with the good hair." The Beyhive wasn't going! They started social media trolling everybody trying to find out who Becky was.

"Looking at my watch, he shoulda been home
Today I regret the night I put that ring on."

Then there was Formation featuring New Orleans Queen of bounce, Big Freedia, that had all of us getting in formation. Remember for Bey's birthday First Lady Michelle Obama, Madea and a host of her family and friends dressed up in her video attire to pay homage to the Queen? We can't forget the epic Super Bowl 50 halftime performance with Bruno Mars. That dance off was everything!

"I like my baby hair, with baby hair and afros
I like my negro nose with Jackson Five nostrils, Earned all this money but they never take the country out me
I got a hot sauce in my bag, swag."

We all felt empowered while singing Freedom featuring Kendrick Lamar. Then the two had all of us shook when they performed the single at the 2016 BET Awards. Remember how Samuel L. Jackson was checking out the dancers as they glided by? .... Hilarious!

"Freedom
Where are you?
'Cause I need freedom, too
I break chains all by myself
Won't let my freedom rot in hell
Hey! I'ma keep running
'Cause a winner don't quit on themselves."
