NORMAL SCALE

These sizes range from Size 1 all the way to Size 16, with these working opposite where 1 is the largest and 16 is the smallest. For trout it is best to focus on smaller hooks, especially when fly fishing since the bait will be especially small. Types of Hooks
Fishing hooks in general are differentiated as either single hooked, treble hooked, or barbless. With each having its advantages and disadvantages for trout.
